We believe that empathy and gratitude should be taught at young ages in order to have better relationships/communications.

We created this tool to raise students’ emotional intelligence and increase expressing their empathy and gratitude easily.

By the end of this activity;

Students will learn how to express themselves better, feel comfortable and integrated in the group.

PROCEDURE:

For this activity,

*First of all, we need to explain them what is EMPATHY and GRATITUDE.

2) Cut the paper to the point you want as you wish from the middle of the folded side.

3) Fold the two cut sides so as to create small triangles opposite to each other and then fold it reverse.

4) While opening the folded paper, put your finger into the hole that you made, from the outside to the inside.

5) You have created a mouth of a creature!

6) Draw your creature/animal as you wish. (Hair,eyes, ears etc.)

7) On the left side of the paper, write something you felt grateful for the last time.

8) On the right side of the paper, write a moment you had an unpleasant emotion/feeling.
